Hall MCSP,
Trained at St Thomas’ Hospital, London and qualified in 1978, Helen developed an early interest in orthopaedics and back pain. After working in teaching hospitals in London and Bristol, she moved to Swindon, to develop her own private practice which included the treatment of injured horses and greyhounds! After completing a research study for the NHS, Helen has now returned to her particular interest in back and neck pain, particularly whiplash injury, and is a member of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics and the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP). Lyn Bailey, MCSP, Grad Dip Phys. Graduated from The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham in 1992. As a Credentialed McKenzie Physiotherapist, Lyn specialises in the treatment of neck and back problems. She is a member of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, the OCPPP and has recently completed her Society of Orthopaedic Medicine Injection Therapy Diploma. Lyn is a keen sportswoman and is particularly experienced in the prevention and treatment of injuries associated with running, martial arts and rugby.
Emma Overson, MCSP, BSc(Hons). Graduated in1994 from Coventry University. Emma has a wealth of experience in the treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions in various settings including NHS hospital, GP practices and the military. Emma has a particular interest in the use of acupuncture and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists as well as being an OCPPP member. She is also a qualified Pilates Instructor and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. Dawn Shore, MCSP, BSC(Hons). Qualified as a Sports Therapist and Fitness Instructor in 1997 whilst serving as a member of the Royal Air Force. Dawn graduated as a mature student from Oxford Brookes University in 2003 after leaving the RAF, and works part time for the NHS. She also specialises in Sports Injuries for Armed Forces Personnel as well as working for Blunsdon Abbey Physiotherapy.

Margaret Atkinson, MCSP, Grad. Dip. Phys. Margaret has worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist, both NHS and privately, for 25 years. On moving to Swindon in 1985, she held the post of Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist at Princess Margaret Hospital before leaving to open her own private practice. She has a Post-graduate Diploma from Coventry University in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, and is particularly interested in the treatment of chronic pain syndromes. Margaret is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Rachel Silvester, MCSP, Grad Dip Phys.
Graduated from Guys Hospital, London in 1990. Having spent five years working in NHS hospitals in London, Rachel moved to Swindon in 1995 to concentrate on the assessment and treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions. Rachel has a special interest in Ergonomics (including work station assessments) and is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Nigel

FTST, LCSP (Phys), IIHHT After working abroad for several years, with celebrities and professional sports people among his clients, Nigel returned to England to work as a physiotherapy assistant in the NHS while developing his private practice. He qualified in 1995 as a fitness consultant and sports massage therapist and then gained a diploma in aromatherapy massage. His extensive knowledge and experience are invaluable as part of the team.
